I'm the founder of Tamalia's Aromatherapy Hair Oil — a Jamaican native with a deep love for natural hair care and holistic wellness.

Growing up, I was surrounded by the belief that Black women couldn't grow long hair, particularly in a so-called "third world country." Every product on the shelf was chemical-laden and imported, designed to profit from our island rather than truly serve us. When I moved to the U.S., I found more of the same — very little that was healthy or made with my hair type in mind.

So I took matters into my own hands. I began formulating my own blends from organic oils, and the results changed everything. My hair, which once barely reached 5 inches, is now over 24 inches long — and still growing.

What started as a personal quest became a passion, and that passion became a small business. Today, Tamalia's Aromatherapy Hair Oils exists to help others embrace their natural beauty — with confidence, and without compromise.
